The entire first trilogy as well as the prequel are all formatted and ready for publication. Both the e-book and trade paperbacks are ready to roll. And the absolutely gorgeous paperback wrap covers, by Kanaxa, are finished as well.

So what’s next? First, I’ll be sending out a newsletter to all my loyal and patient existing subscribers introducing the free prequel e-book and inviting them to download it from BookFunnel. The novella is 40,000 words (165 pages in print). Those readers who hung in there waiting for me through the bumpy years since the first trilogy was published get the first chance to see the cover and title and to access the download site.
After that, I’ll open up newsletter subscription to everyone. Newsletter subscribers will get first looks at the covers and titles of the relaunched first trilogy. They will also get the first look at the covers, titles, characters, settings, and other details about the upcoming second and third trilogies, novellas and shorts.
Any Furious Fireflies Out There?
I’ll be asking newsletter subscribers if they would like to join up with the Furious Fireflies. This special group of readers will play an important role in the relaunch of the original trilogy AND in the launch of future books as well. And, of course, there will be unique bonuses for these special readers!
Woodruff Mountain is Calling
But for now, the exciting part for me is sharing the prequel with all the folks who hung in there with me through the last bumpy decade. And I am also SO excited about the next trilogy. I’m re-releasing the first trilogy pretty quickly in order to get to the next one! And I hope that you enjoy these new stories as much as I enjoyed writing them. (Don’t worry. We never stray very far from Woodruff Mountain and the beloved characters from the first trilogy.)
